Sheriff's deputies say the robber first stole a forklift from a construction equipment company. Then the suspect drove the forklift across the street and broke open an ATM machine.
The thief took off with an unknown amount of cash. When deputies arrived, the forklift was still running and pieces of the ATM were all over the roadway.
