Morning traffic delays expected on NASA Parkway

HOUSTON A construction crew hit a 6-foot steel gas line just after 1pm Tuesday in the 1900 block of NASA Parkway near Repsdorph, said Alicia Dixon with CenterPoint Energy.

Now, crews are working to make emergency repairs to the road, which might cause traffic delays. Drivers in the westbound lanes of NASA Road 1 between Repsdorph Road and Lakeside Drive are expected to face the most congestion.precaution.

The incident didn't injure anyone or force evacuations, though residents were asked to stay indoors as a normal precaution.
