Thief targets women pumping gas in Pearland

PEARLAND, TX At least six robberies have taken place at a Kroger gas station on Broadway. The robberies started in mid-July and the most recent one took place around noon on Saturday.

Police say the victims have been pumping gas on the drivers' sides of the vehicles and the robbers have gone through unlocked passenger sides to their grab their purses. The suspect then escaped in a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix.
