Authorities seek suspect in cell phone store robbery

HOUSTON According to Fort Bend County Detectives, a black male suspect armed with a handgun entered the Cricket store on Highway 6 around 10:40am Monday and demanded cash from an employee. The employee complied with the suspect's orders and the suspect then fled from the business with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a black shirt and a desert camouflage boonie hat.

Fort Bend Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect.
