Morelia beats Dynamo to reach SuperLiga finals
HOUSTON
Morelia will face New England, which defeated Puebla 5-3 on a
penalty kick after tying 1-1 Wednesday night, in the championship
game on either Aug. 24, 25 or 26 at Foxborough, Mass.
Sabah got a forward pass from Rafael Marquez Lugo, chipped it
over Houston goalkeeper Tally Hall and into the left goal.
The Dynamo had chances to score at the end of each half, with
Cam Weaver hitting a header from the middle box off the far post to
end the first half, and Lovel Palmer just missing a shot from 22
yards out on the right past the far post in the second half
stoppage time.
