Three arrested in Needville burglary

NEEDVILLE, TX On Tuesday at approximately 12:15pm, deputies of the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office responded to the 18600 block of Davis Estate Road in Needville regarding a burglary in progress.

According to the report, a witness observed a red Ford Explorer drive onto his property and back up to his son's home. After contacting the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, the witness drove to the front entry of the property at which time the suspect vehicle drove towards him at a high rate of speed and continued off his property.

With the assistance of Needville Police Department, authorities quickly located the vehicle near FM 1462 and Highway 36 and detained three suspects.

The suspects have been identified as Bolivar Santana, 21, Jovani Santana, 17, and Gilbert Garza, Jr., 19. All three suspects are from the Rosenberg area and are now incarcerated in the Fort Bend County Detention Facility on charges for burglary of a habitation, with no bail.

Detectives with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office are continuing this investigation in addition to filing a second burglary of habitation charge on all three suspects subsequent to recovering additional stolen property from another Needville home and reportedly receiving confessions from the suspects.

As it stands, all property recovered has been returned to the rightful owners.
