Man arrested in stabbing death of his stepfather

HOUSTON Tipton McMahon, 23, is charged with murder in the death of Peter O'Shea.

On Monday, Harris County Constables Pct. 5 responded to a call at 17306 Morgans Secret Drive. Deputies determined that O'Shea was deceased in the master bedroom of his home. O'Shea, 52, was the victim of several stab wounds.

Authorities say McMahon, the stepson of O'Shea, was observed by his mother with a knife in his hand, standing over O'Shea.

Deputies were able to locate McMahon and investigators from the Sheriff's Homicide Unit are interviewing him.
