A driver has pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter for a crash that killed three people who were celebrating Mother's Day. Orvel Speck entered the pleas Monday in Galveston County to avoid a trial. A punishment hearing begins Tuesday morning. Speck veered off Seawall Boulevard last year and slammed into the back of a parked car.

Tremane Albert, 25, his 10-year-old stepson Alan Meredith and 3-year-old Isaiah Barnett were killed.
