Help wanted to ID soccer field victim

HOUSTON Police say a passerby spotted the victim's body lying on a soccer field at Freshmeadow Park. Responding emergency personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The victim is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s or 40s. He was 5 feet 8 inches tall, 230 pounds, clean shaven, with a neatly trimmed mustache and with medium length black hair. He was wearing a teal green and white striped collared pull-over shirt with the number "9" sewn on the right sleeve.

The victim also had a red heart with barbed wire across the heart and flames and a cross on top of the heart tattooed on his upper left chest. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s) in the case.
