Baby reportedly drowns in bathtub in NE Houston

HOUSTON Emergency crews were called out to an apartment complex in the 3200 block of Buck Street in northeast Houston. The infant, Quentin Hampton, 11 months, was found unresponsive and was transported to LBJ General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

We're told a 15-year-old mother left the baby boy unattended in an infant tub inside the big bathtub for a couple of minutes. Quentin's mother returned to the bathroom and found him unresponsive. She then called 911 and, along with neighbors, attempted to revive him.

Police are awaiting autopsy results into baby Quentin's death.
