A second unit attempted to stop the motorcycle, but the rider tried to go around that squad car. That's when the motorcyclist lost control and slammed into a wooden electrical pole at Gessner and Clay.
Officers say the motorcycle was stolen.
Man on stolen motorcycle leads police on chase
HOUSTON
It started around 7:30pm Wednesday when a Houston police officer spotted a motorcycle speeding down Long Point. A couple of minutes later, he caught up to the motorcycle on Gessner.
