WALLER COUNTY, TX --
Authorities evacuated approximately 50 homes for several hours in the Lakes of Katy subdivision in east Waller County. Officials say a high pressure gas line is leaking near the intersection of Pitts Road and Morton Rd. That leak started around 2:30am. Crews are still working to fix the leak but apparently the threat of danger is over. The evacuation order was lifted around 10am and residents were allowed back into their homes.
There were no injuries reported.
