Free food, fun and landscaping lecture

Friday is "Cow Appreciation Day" at Chick-Fil-A restaurants. If you dress like a cow, from head to hoof, you'll get a free meal. If you're too chicken to wear a full cow costume, wear something like a cow-spotted scarf or maybe a hat, and you'll get a complimentary entree.

Does your yard need a makeover? The Harris County Master Gardeners Association is holding a free lecture on landscape design this Tuesday at Bass Pro Shops in Pearland. It's right off Highway 288 and the Sam Houston Tollway. The lecture is from 6:30 to 9pm.
