Close to 200 pastors from all denominations are taking a stand when it comes to border security and immigration reform. They gathered Wednesday at Grace Community Church in southeast Houston. They want lawmakers to take immediate action on the issue. They've signed a petition that calls for three things -- secure the borders, then reform the immigration system and deal with illegal immigrants humanely. They say it's a moral issue.

Pastor Hernan Castano with Iglesia Rios de Aceite said, "We need to have security first before we have a change and the change to handle the crisis so it will not repeat itself in the future."

On Tuesday the Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against Arizona's controversial immigration law. It calls for local police to ask for paperwork from suspected illegal immigrants.
