Pastors take stand on border security

HOUSTON They gathered Wednesday at Grace Community Church in southeast Houston. They want lawmakers to take immediate action on the issue. They've signed a petition that calls for three things -- secure the borders, then reform the immigration system and deal with illegal immigrants humanely. They say it's a moral issue.

Pastor Hernan Castano with Iglesia Rios de Aceite said, "We need to have security first before we have a change and the change to handle the crisis so it will not repeat itself in the future."

On Tuesday the Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against Arizona's controversial immigration law. It calls for local police to ask for paperwork from suspected illegal immigrants.
