Rotting meat left outside bar in battle with condo

HOUSTON Hans Bier Haus believes someone intentionally dumped 20 pounds of rotting meat between the properties on Quenby in southwest Houston. According to the city health department, the property where the meat sits belongs to neither the bar nor the condo, but a third party with no stake in the case.

Bar employees can't enter the area because of a restraining order, and no one from the condo has removed the meat. The bar says the stench is hurting business. City officials recommended they put lye on the meat to diminish the odor.

One person received a citation from Houston police for causing a nuisance due to the spoiled meat on the property.

The neighbors have been arguing for years. The condo claims the bar is too loud, and the bar claims condo owners harass customers.
