Two firefighters injured while battling warehouse fire

Preliminary information is that a boiler inside the warehouse may have ruptured, causing the injuries.

Two firefighters were injured while battling a warehouse fire in east Houston this morning. The firefighters from Station 19 were checking out some kind of problem in that warehouse when something went wrong. Early reports suggest a boiler inside may have ruptured.

Both firefighters were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. One has a broken arm. The other has steam burns on the face. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
