Dumes drove in Adam Hinojosa on a two-out hit after Hinojosa tied the score with a two-run double. The rally sent Carroll (36-7) into Saturday's championship game against Klein.
Brian Hethcoat scattered seven hits through the first six innings for Clements (33-8), holding Carroll to one run. But he allowed consecutive singles to start the seventh and was pulled after Hinojosa's tying double, eventually taking the loss.
John Stanford went 2 for 2 and homered to give Clements a 3-1 lead in the top of the seventh.
