Oshea Dumes' RBI single capped a three-run rally in the seventh inning that carried Corpus Christi Carroll past Fort Bend Clements 4-3 in the Class 5A baseball semifinals Friday night.

Dumes drove in Adam Hinojosa on a two-out hit after Hinojosa tied the score with a two-run double. The rally sent Carroll (36-7) into Saturday's championship game against Klein.

Brian Hethcoat scattered seven hits through the first six innings for Clements (33-8), holding Carroll to one run. But he allowed consecutive singles to start the seventh and was pulled after Hinojosa's tying double, eventually taking the loss.

John Stanford went 2 for 2 and homered to give Clements a 3-1 lead in the top of the seventh.
