Meeting to tackle Upper MLK Corridor plans

HOUSTON A community forum is set for Saturday for people who live in the Upper MLK Corridor -- the area along Martin Luther King Boulevard, just south of MacGregor Park to Griggs Road.

A new YMCA is being built and the beginnings of the light rail are snaking down MLK. Some people in the neighborhood have been concerned about changes in the community.

Saturday's meeting will be at 2pm at the Shrine Cultural and Event Center, located at 5309 MLK Boulevard.
