HPD: Teen fatally shot while answering his door

HOUSTON According to witnesses, Michael Williams, 18, answered a knock on his front door in the 11000 block of Keegans Ridge around 6:30am on Thursday. After a brief discussion with an unknown male in the doorway, Williams was shot in the chest. He was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators are questioning a person of interest, however, no charges have been filed at this time.
