Police seek info on teen's murder in west Houston

Crime Stoppers and HPD are asking for the public's assistance with any information on the June 2, 2010 murder of Sarah Weyrick, 19.

Law enforcement officials are asking for the public's help to catch whoever killed a teeange girl and torched her car with her body inside. On June 2 around 2am, the Houston Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Mansions of Shadowbriar Apartments located at 12100 Overbrook Lane. After the fire was extinguished, the body of Sarah Weyrick, 19, was discovered in the back seat of the car.

"Justice needs to be served in this case. A lot of people loved her, family and friends," said the victim's father, Jay Weyrick.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline or submitted online at Crime-Stoppers.org that leads to an arrest in this case. Tips can also be sent by text message - Text TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES(274637). All tipsters remain anonymous.
