Houston is getting in on the tug of war over what to do with the space shuttles once they're retired. Space Center Houston is now vying to be a permanent home to a retired space shuttle. Representatives with the space center are gathering support from area business leaders and philanthropists.

About 20 other venues across the nation are fighting for a chance to get a shuttle. NASA Administrator Charles Bolden is expected to make a decision sometime this summer.
