Plenty of free stuff around town this weekend

HOUSTON

We have a great idea for a free Father's Day gift, plus a great way for the kiddos to stay cool indoors this summer.

Just in time for summer, Regal Entertainment Group is presenting its Free Family Film Festival. The movie theaters are offering free movies rated G or PG at 10am every Tuesday and Wednesday this summer. Tickets and seating are available on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to theater capacity.Click here to see the movie selections.

Pack your cooler and bring your dancing shoes to the Miller Outdoor Theater this weekend. At 8:30pm Friday, the Houston Met Dance will be performing a selection of dance favorites from the past season and the premiere of two new works. Then Saturday evening at 6:30pm, it's the 21st annual Accordion Kings & Queens Extravaganza celebrating the national instrument of Texas. From Czech-German polka, Cumbia to Cajun, and more, there is something for everyone.

The Children's Museum of Houston has free admission for everyone this Sunday! A ceremony with confetti cannons kicks off this free event at 11:45am.

The Museum of Fine Arts of Houston also has free admission Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.

If you'd rather be outside, head over to the Houston Zoo this Saturday and Sunday for free admission! The catch is you have to be a Bank of America card holder. Just show your Bank of America credit or debit card, and you have free access to the zoo. It's one free ticket per card holder. The zoo is open from 9am to 7pm.

If you are looking for a Father's Day gift idea, head over to the Sears Portrait Studio for a free collage print. The free collage is valued at almost $45 plus the session fee is waived! Just print the online coupon and make an appointment. The offer is good until September 12, and it's one coupon per family.
