Handicapped man assaulted while waiting for bus

HOUSTON On May 26 around 10:30am, the handicapped man was at the Mesa Transit Center waiting to catch a bus when he was assaulted by a heavy-set black male. The suspect hit the victim several times causing numerous injuries to his face and body. The suspect appeared to be traveling with a black female companion. Both the suspect and the woman boarded a 52 route bus at the Mesa Transit Center at 10:35am.

The suspect is a heavy-set black male with some facial hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue t-shirt and white tennis shoes. His companion is a medium to heavy-set black female. She has long hair and was wearing a purple, black and white top with white Capri pants and sandals. She was wearing heavy make-up and numerous sets of bracelets on both arms.

The victim is recovering from his injuries.
