Wife accused of fatally shooting her husband

HOUSTON Harris County precinct four deputies were called out to a home off Bright Oak around 7:30pm yesterday. Deputies say the man and his wife had been fighting before she shot him. She was taken to the hospital for unrelated medical issues.

Investigators say they have received calls from this home before.

"There have been previous reports of domestic violence at this address," said Sgt. Greg Pinkins with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Detectives are waiting to get a statement from the wife before they send their findings to the district attorney.
