HOUSTON --
Police are trying to figure out why a man ran his car into a train overnight. Authorities say the man was driving eastbound on Lawndale but didn't stop for a train going down the tracks. His car crashed through the crossing arm and right into a train car. Houston firefighters freed the driver, then rushed him to the hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.
