Crews will be laying down a conduit for utility lines across the bridge. It's part of the ongoing freeway widening project.
Gulf Freeway shut down tonight
HOUSTON
The Gulf Freeway will be completely shut down in both directions at the FM 646 overpass in League City. The closure happens Tuesday and Wednesday at 9pm and will reopen at 5am the next morning. Traffic will be detoured to the frontage roads.
