Police search for man after Heights bank robbery

HOUSTON It happened around noon at the Allegiance Bank on North Durham Drive. Investigators say the man entered the bank and handed a note to the teller, demanding 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1 dollar bills.

The suspect gave the teller a black cloth bag to put the money in, say investigators. The teller complied and the robber left and started walking south on Durham Drive.

No one was hurt in the robbery. The bank's surveillance camera captured a photograph of the man believed to have robbed the bank.

The man is described as a white male in his mid-40s, approximately 5'9" tall, 160 - 170 pounds, with a light complexion and a slender build. He had blond wavy hair, no facial hair, and wore a blue-gray short sleeve tee-shirt and blue jeans. According to the FBI, the photo above was taken earlier when he was in the bank.
