HOUSTON --
A Harris County precinct 4 deputy is now recovering after a crash in his squad car. Investigators say the officer was headed to an emergency call when he collided with an SUV at Jones and Cypress north Houston. The SUV then landed on another car. Both the car and SUV had children inside. They are all expected to be OK. The deputy was taken to a hospital to be checked out.
