Serious accident shut down Gulf Freeway for hours

HOUSTON Police say the driver of a Honda Civic was speeding near the Cullen exit when he lost control and hit a concrete barrier. The vehicle rolled over several times. The driver, his wife, and a child were all taken to the hospital.

The wife and child are expected to be okay but the driver is in critical condition.
