Man shoots security guard outside game room

HOUSTON On Saturday, May 1 at around 4am, an employee of a game room located near the 8200 block of Thompson Road in Highlands was leaving the business and getting into his car. According to Crime Stoppers, he was approached by a black male with a gun. The man shot through the driver's side window of the car and ordered the victim out of his car.

An unarmed security guard who walked out with the employee heard what was happening and got out of his car to help. The suspect shot at the security guard eight to ten times, striking him once in the side. The suspect drove off in the employee's car. The car was later found burning in the roadway near the 600 block of Crockett in Channelview. The security guard is recovering from his injuries.

No photos are available of the suspect but he is described as a chubby 40 to 45 year old black male. He is around 5'8" to 5'10" tall and was wearing thick prescription glasses. He had on a black shirt, black pants and was armed with a small black gun.
