Police seek suspects in fatal shooting in NW Houston

HOUSTON The victim, Reginald Leroy King, 29, suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead at 5700 Thousand Oaks Circle about 2:30am on Sunday morning.

Police say King and a witness were walking through the Pine Ridge Apartments parking lot when they were approached by six or seven unknown armed male suspects. One suspect pointed his gun at King and demanded his car keys. As King tried to slap the gun out of the suspect's hand, the suspect struck King in the face with his fist. King and the witness then fled in separate directions. The suspects followed King and then shot him.

The suspects are described only as black males.
