The victim, Shafin Okieth Lark, 27, suffered multiple stab wounds and facial trauma and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say Allen and his girlfriend were visiting her relative at 6611 Trigate. During the visit, Allen and Lark, who was a resident of that house, got into an argument. At some point during the argument, Lark was stabbed and Allen and his girlfriend fled the scene.
