HOUSTON
A driver spotted the woman lying in the middle of the Gulf Freeway around 10:45pm. She didn't have any identification on her, and investigators say she had either been hit by a car, or possibly thrown out of a vehicle. She is an African American woman in her mid 40s. She was wearing a white shirt, jeans and pink Crocs at the time.
Officer James Cortinas with the Houston Police Department said, "We're going to try to get the sketch artist to do a composite sketch of the unknown and put that out to the public to see."
Police are trying to track down any witnesses. If you have any information that can help, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
