The driver who hit the woman stopped and talked to deputies. The driver who was struck and killed did not have her flashers turned on.
Woman filling gas tank hit, killed by car
HOUSTON
It happened just before 8pm along Veterans Memorial near West Road. The 28-year-old driver got out of her vehicle, got a gas can and was filling up her car when she was hit. Two vehicles came up from behind her vehicle, but only one was able to swerve out of the way in time.
