Bar robbery attempt turns into murder

HOUSTON At around 2am, sheriff deputies responded to a shooting at the La Bella Bar on Old Humble Road. Three people were shot. Two of the victims survived but Luis Garza died as a result of his injuries.

According to Crime Stoppers, the three victims were inside the bar with several other people when three armed suspects and a woman entered the bar and demanded money. A struggle broke out when several customers tried to disarm the suspects. During the struggle Garza was shot and killed.

The armed suspects are described as three Hispanic males. A Hispanic female was also with the suspects. The shooter is a heavy set Hispanic male in his thirties. He was around 5'5" tall. The female that accompanied the suspects is in her late twenties. She is around 5'7" tall and had her hair in a ponytail.
