The third and final suspect in the murder of a Pasadena woman was sentenced to life in prison. Stephanie Jacabo pled guilty Thursday morning to capital murder charges in the death of Betty Blair.

Blair took in Jacabo, Jimmy Le and Roosevelt Smith after the trio fled Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. Blair was then strangled to death, and the three were arrested while driving her car, with several stolen goods inside.

Smith was sentenced to death. Le was given life in prison without parole.
