Judge charged with assaulting family member

HOUSTON Frank Aguilar, 52, is a magistrate judge and according to court documents, he caused bodily injury to a person with whom he had a dating relationship, by striking the woman with his hand on April 27.

Aguilar is out of jail on $1,500 bond.
