Homeowner fights back against intruders

HOUSTON Authorities say around 11:30pm, a group of men burst into a home on Kassarine Pass at Malmedy as family members, including a couple children, were inside watching TV.

Gunfire was exchanged between the male homeowner and the intruders. One of the intruders was killed and the male homeowner was taken to the hospital after he was hit. No one else was hurt.

The other suspects took off in two dark colored cars. Police are still looking for them and investigating exactly what happened.
