Some residents were still asleep when the fire started. All the residents inside managed to get out safely, but the building is a total loss.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Two-alarm fire destroys apartment building
HOUSTON
It happened at the Wellington Place apartments on Green Creek near Jones. Firefighters pulled two alarms when they found flames shooting through the roof of a 7-unit building.
