Robber hits bank, takes undisclosed amount of cash

RICHMOND, TX The suspect entered a bank in the 2100 block of Thompson Highway around 10am Saturday and handed the teller a note demanding cash, according to a Richmond Police Department statement. The suspect never pulled out a weapon during the robbery, but he acted as though he had one in his pocket.

The man took an undisclosed amount of cash before running to an apartment complex across the street from the bank, according to the statement.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40's, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs between 140 and 180 pounds. His beard appeared to have been grown for only two to three days.
