HOUSTON --
The president of the University of Houston-Downtown announced two new possible names for the school. Dr. William Flores says a consultant firm came up with "City University" and "Houston City University" as new suggestions for renaming UHD. Flores told Eyewitness News the U of H board of regents will vote on the names, and then send their choice to the Texas legislature for approval. The school has started setting aside money for branding once lawmakers select the new name.
