Driver sought in fatal hit and run

HOUSTON Curtis Thorne was crossing the street in the 200 block of West Gulf Bank on the evening of March 30 when a pickup truck traveling eastbound struck him, according to a Crime Stoppers statement. He was thrown to the other side of the street, and the driver didn't stop.

Thorne was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he later died.
