The driver of the SUV had to be cut out by rescue teams and taken to the hospital. Several people on board the bus were also hurt. Right now, METRO police will not say who ran the red light.
Several injured in accident involving METRO bus
HOUSTON
Police say the bus was traveling west on Saint Joseph Parkway and an SUV was going south on Caroline. Police say someone ran a red light and the bus slammed into the driver's side of the SUV, dragging it down a road.
