Suspects sought in off-duty guard's murder

Manuel Rangel Aguirre, 47, was shot and killed on March 15 in the 8000 block of South Gessner, according to a Houston Police Department statement. Aguirre was trying to get into his car when he was approached by two men who started the fight that ended with his death.

The first suspect is about 5 feet 7 inches and has an average build. He also walks with a limp. The second on is about 5 feet 10 inches and has a slim build. He was last seen wearing a gold chain.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
