Firefighters stop garage fire from spreading to home

HOUSTON Houston firefighters responded to the home on Kingston Vale near Chipman around 3am. They found heavy flames coming from the garage, but stopped the fire from spreading. The homeowner made it out safely, but her car was destroyed.

Firefighters also found the family's dog unharmed in the back of the house, and gave it oxygen.
