Four struck by runaway electric cart at IAH

HOUSTON Continental Airlines told us the incident happened Thursday around 12:30pm inside Terminal B near the entrance to the automated people mover. The driver of the electric cart got off the cart to help someone with their luggage when a bag fell onto the pedal and the cart took off. The driver and three other people were struck by the cart. All four were transported to the hospital with injuries.

Continental did not know the extent of their injuries. The cart vendor is Prime Flight.
