Evidence taken from exhumed body

GALVESTON, TX Hank Johnson was beaten to death in a hotel room in the town of Hearne, Texas in the summer of 2008. His killer was never caught.

Johnson's mother, Sandi Johnson, says she has always believed that crucial blood evidence remained under her son's fingernails.

Today, she watched as his body was removed from Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

"I am praying, with all my heart, I am praying, that they will do what's right," Sandi Johnson said. "They have to do what's right for Hank."

The medical examiner will now send the evidence collected off for testing, and Johnson's body will eventually be returned to the cemetery.
