Two children were in the home at the time and slept through the shooting. Police questioned a person of interest but have not filed any charges in connection with the murders.

Stan Jackson and Janella Edwards' funeral was held in Brookshire, where their bodies were found in a home March 11. Police think someone shot and killed the couple during a robbery.
