Police: Elderly man killed wife, son, then himself

SAN ANTONIO, TX San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the man called 911 around 9:15 a.m. Saturday and told the dispatcher that "there's been two homicides, and there's about to be a suicide."

Police found the man, believed to be about 80, and his wife and 53-year-old son dead of gunshot wounds in their kitchen.

The son and wife were found dead in the kitchen. The father was found on the floor with a revolver beside him.

Neighbors described the family as friendly, and said the son had recently moved into a bungalow on the property to help care for his elderly parents.
