Images released of suspect in two bank robberies

HOUSTON The most recent robbery happened Monday morning at the Wells Fargo bank at 10978 Grand Road in east Houston. Investigators say the suspect handed a teller a note saying he had a gun. The teller gave him some money and he took off on foot. No weapon was seen in this robbery and no one was hurt. There were several surveillance images captured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned, older black male, approximately six feet tall or taller, around 200 pounds with a medium build. During both robberies, he carried a medium-sized black money bag with Velcro closures.

The FBI says the same man is also suspected in the robbery of the Chase Bank located at 12350 FM 1960 back on March 8.
